More drivers are opting to save money by handing over their privacy.
TheDetroitBureau.com reports an increasing interest in usage-based insurance. That's where your insurance company tracks your driving habits through a device which relays information on how you drive. Then the insurer uses that information to determine if you qualify for a discount.
The savings, by some estimates, can total five to 30-percent.
