Emergency crews are still on the scene of a large structure fire in Albion, Orleans County.

The fire broke out on West Avenue in Albion around 4:00p.m. at the Orleans Pallet building, which is a storage of wooden pallets.

Fire officials say the owner of the building and another worker were inside the building on the second floor using a grinder and sparks from the grinder started the fire.

Fire officials say the fire went up very quickly and the second floor, third floor and roof are all gone.

Empire Coating is located next door. Fire officials say there is methylchlorine stored inside that building and that's the reason why they have evacuated the area. Firefighters believed the fire had spread to that building, but according to the Albion Police Chief, there is no fire in the building at the time.

There were some concerns that the building might collapse and fall onto the Empire Coating building next door.

There were no injuries in the fire.
