A city teen was injured on South Avenue when the store he worked at was robbed Saturday afternoon.
Rochester Police say at about 4:30 p.m. a man entered a South Avenue Boost Mobile store near Alexander Street with a gun and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect then struck the cashier--an 18-year-old city man--with the gun and took money from the drawer. The teen victim suffered only minor injuries, but was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.
The robbery is still under investigation and police say no one else was hurt.
