For kids, it's all about the costumes and candy. For parents, it's all about safety. So who better to teach children about how to be safe this Halloween than the performers from this year's Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
On Wednesday morning, some of the circus acts came together to give children ideas about trick or treating safety. Many of the clowns and dancers also performed for the students at School No. 33 on Webster Avenue
Brendan “Specs” Tetrault, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, said, “It's actually a great opportunity to actually get into the community itself so we can have an upclose interaction with students, children in their home area is sometimes best. Instead of coming out to us, sometimes it's always better and more personal to just go to them in their own area school is the best place.”
The circus will kick off Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Blue Cross Arena. News10NBC's Scott Kilbury will be serving as the ringmaster.
