Some residents in Victor want state money to help make what they call a dangerous road less of a hazard. They are talking about Lane Road between Route 96 and County Road 9.
Residents tell our news partners at the Messenger Post they're concerned about the lack of sidewalks, the curved road and the Victor Central School District's bus garage which is located on that road. They say those things make it dangerous for bikers and pedestrians.
The state DOT assigned Victor more than $389,000 to install sidewalks, signs and crosswalks in the school district.
Town leaders are meeting to discuss where to spend that money in Victor residents on Lane Road hope they will get some of it.
