Go ahead, have that second cup of coffee. A new study might have busted the myth that a cup of Joe can make you dehydrated.
Researchers at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom had a group of men drink coffee for three days. A second group had to drink an equal amount of water for three days. The two groups switched beverages for another three days.
Researchers say there were no significant differences in total body water or in hydration status whether they were sipping coffee or water.
