A big step forward for the Rochester Deputy Fire Chief injured in a police chase. Officials say Marty McMillian is back to work on "light duty".

McMillian was hospitalized in November with a broken back after his SUV was hit by a truck driven by a man officers were chasing.

Investigators say 48-year-old Charles Domicello robbed several stores in Macedon, then led police on chase into Rochester.

The chase ended when police say Domicello crashed in McMillian's SUV.
