Members of the Webster Thomas Titans Football team have a lot less hair on their heads Wednesday night.
They volunteered to shave it all off as a show of support for another teammate, who is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Collin Fanning is a sophomore at Webster Thomas and was diagnosed last month.
Before Wednesday night’s varsity basketball game, more than a dozen "stylists" helped the football players, coaches, other students and family members show their support for him.
News10NBC talked with Fanning about this.
“It really helps a lot when I have my support with my friends my family, and of course my team makes me know everything's going to be okay,” said Fanning.
The football players even created a T-shirt in Fanning's honor, which students can wear in support of him.
