Time Warner says it will raise rates for cable and internet by six and a half percent. Standard internet service will go up to $58.
The rate increase will start next month, but they won't impact anyone currently in a promotional plan.
The company says the increases come as a result of $227 million invested to improve service throughout their coverage area, plus, hikes in the cost to provide their service.
Time Warner serves about 350,000 people locally.
