Things out here have definitely slowed down since earlier this evening but as you can see this is still a very active crime scene.

Take a look at just a few hours ago, you can see Clifford Avenue was blocked off as state troopers and officers with the Rochester Police Department surrounded the apartment building with guns drawn.

We are told the two units were working together to execute a search warrant. We are told this is related to a drug investigation and the triple homicide earlier this week on Chili Avenue.

Police have spent the evening collecting evidence from the building, and taking pictures of the area.

Neighbors say this is a good neighborhood, but they did know this building to be a trouble spot.

Brian Managan, Vice President of the Bensonhurst Neighborhood Association said, “I know we've had some problems with drug activity in the past. Nothing really specific I can share. It's just been this one location is all.

We know police have several people in custody.
