Rochester Police were called to Northeast & Northwest High School at the Frederick Douglass Campus Friday morning for a large fight.

Police say several students were involved in two fights occurring at the same time on the second floor of the school. The fights were broken up by school safety officers and school administrators.

Five students, 16-year-olds Alex Frens, Travon Golden, Tyshaun Radcliffe, Willie Thompson and Anthony Downs, were charged with disorderly conduct and two juveniles involved were released to their parents.

The school released a statement saying, "There was two brief incidents of student fighting today at Northeast and Northwest High Schools on the Douglass Campus. School safety officers and administrators intervened quickly in both cases. There were no injuries, order was restored quickly and most students had a normal day of school today. However, five students involved in this fight and previous disruptions were taken into custody for disorderly conduct."
