We tallied your votes for the best steakhouse in Rochester and the winner is Delmonica’s Italian Steakhouse.

From the Frank Sinatra room to the Frank Sinatra booth, Rochester Rocs winner Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse definitely did it his way.

The caricatures on the wall help add to different themes in each room. And it’s the fun and intricate decorations and great service that managers say keep customers coming back.

Assistant General Manager Emily Streb said, “We have regular guests that come for happy hour every single day and when they're not here, we worry about them sometimes they even call us to let us know they are not coming in."

General Manager Gabe Basalla said, “A few times a year they drive from Long Island to Rochester to eat at Delmonico’s and they often turn around and drive right back to Long Island.”

It might be for the signature Delmonico’s steak. It’s a 24-ounce heavy aged Midwestern certified angus beef cut fresh each time or the popular seafood dishes like the gorgonzola salmon fruita de mar or a huge 12-ounce cold-water lobster tail. And why not wash it all down with a cocktail the color of Frank Sinatra’s eyes

We are told another large dining room is being added to the restaurant to accommodate private special events.

Congratulations to Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse!
