Patients can expect some big changes at Unity Hospital in Greece. An official ribbon-cutting was held for the facility Monday morning.
It now includes larger, brand-new private rooms, renovations to the joint replacement center and an additional 200 free parking spaces for visitors.
We spoke with hospital officials today who say everyone is going to notice an immediate change when they walk through the front door. Unity Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. James Haley said, “The immediate thing will be the beauty of it. It's beautiful, beautiful facility. The second thing is how they feel once they're greeted here as they're cared for here.”
The project took four years and $180-million to complete.
