ALBANY - Emancipation proclamation on display at NYS Museum

This weekend, local residents can see President Abraham Lincoln's preliminary Emancipation Proclamation at the New York State Museum.

It's the only surviving version of the document in Lincoln's handwriting.

The exhibit will be on display in the museum's lobby tomorrow and Saturday.
