Police investigate reported sexual assault

ALBANY - Police are investigating the reported sexual assault of an 18-year-old girl.

The alleged incident happened Wednesday night at 6:30 at 911 Central Avenue.

Police say the woman told them a man approached her, started talking to her then forcibly touched her in a sexual manner.

She was able to get away and call for help.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
