TROY - This was day three of testimony in the ballot fraud trial of Rensselaer County Election Commissioner Edward McDonough and once again, it was a short one.

McDonough faces 73 charges of ballot fraud and possession of forged documents and this morning, five more voters testified that they believe their absentee ballots were forged and stolen.

That testimony lasted less than two hours and Judge George Pulver sent the jury home until 9a.m. Monday when testimony resumes.

This is the second trial for McDonough. The first trial ended with a hung jury last winter
