At one local school this morning, it was teachers, not students that boarded a school bus.

And they did this to help hundreds of children have a happier holiday season.

Teachers and school staff at Scotia-Glenville High School made a stop at a school bus parked outside the building this morning.

They dropped off wrapping paper, toys and winter gloves and hats for kids in need.

As they filled the bus, the teachers, like Tracy Ehlinger, who teaches kindergarten thought of her own young students.

The donations will go to the Schenectady City Mission; they're helping at least 1,500 kids this year.
