Black Friday shoppers endured long lines

Most malls in our area opened at midnight.

That includes Crossgates Mall in Guilderland.

Some waited more than 24-hours just to bag a bargain.

At Toys R Us on Wolf Road, the doors opened at eight o'clock Thanksgiving night.

Shoppers say the early openings are one way they can try to save money on a tight budget.

41 million Americans went shopping on Thanksgiving Day.

Many retailers expect to earn from 20 to 40percent of their annual sales revenue between now and Christmas Day.
