Albany police investigate violent robbery near UAlbany

ALBANY - Albany police are also investigating a violent robbery near UAlbany's alumni quad and the College of Saint Rose.

Police say a man was shot in the head with a pellet gun around midnight last night.

It happened on O'leary Boulevard.

The victim was also robbed of a cell phone and wallet.

Police say two men were seen running away toward Albany High School.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
