Tonight as two women cling onto life at Albany Medical Center after being stabbed, friends gather to remember the woman who didn't survive.

A vigil outside for Tonette Thomas just wrapped up, a day after the alleged killer was caught.

Michael Anderson is accused of killing Thomas, and viciously stabbing her sister Shaquasia and aunt Gwynn Carter.

Police caught Anderson Tuesday night after they spotted him on the fire escape of a building on Lark Drive. Relatives say Tonette's sister Shaquasia had been dating Anderson, but broke it off.

They also say he threatened her life more than once, but nobody spoke of him here. Here there were only prayers for the two women now fighting for their lives.
