CLIFTON PARK - Shenendehowa High in Clifton Park is mourning the loss of two student athletes in a Northway crash Saturday night.
Police say another driver, 22-year-old Dennis Drue is at fault but so far no charges have been filed.
Police say they are awaiting blood alcohol tests.
The school is currently doing its best to help students deal with the tragedy.
Students and staff at Shen say that even with thousands of students, the hallways have never been so quiet.
Monday was a solemn day as students mourned the loss of their two classmates, Chris Stewart and Deanna Rivers, and supported the recovery of two of their friends, Bailey Wind and Matthew Hardy.
A memorial filled with flowers, pictures and memories was in the auditorium.
Students from Shaker High School joined Shen in wearing green Monday to honor the students who died.
"Really when it comes down to it, we are one large community that really need to interact and support one another..." said Shaker High School Principal Richard Murphy.
“We would just like to let them know that they are in our thoughts and prayers everyday…” said Shaker student David Morrison.
Bailey Wind and Matt Hardy have a long road to recovery but are getting a lot support.
On Tuesday, students and the surrounding community are encouraged to wear blue instead of green to support their recovery.
Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. there will be a candlelight vigil at Shenendehowa High.
