Saratoga County man charged with murdering his own mother

GREENFIELD - A Saratoga County man is now charged with murdering his own mother.

A two count indictment was handed up today against 27-year-old Joshua McWain.

It accuses him of killing his mother, Carol Stanford and tampering with evidence.

Police found Stanford's body underneath a shed at the family's home in Greenfield back in October.

McWain is now in the Saratoga County jail.
