Roads to close in Albany for for Winter 5k

Several roads will be closed for Albany's Last Run Winter 5k on Saturday, Dec. 15. Parking restrictions are also in effect. 

Road Closures:

Washington Avenue from South Swan Street to State Street – Closed 3:30 p.m.- 6:15 p.m.

State Street between Lodge Street and Eagle Street – Closed 4:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

State Street between South Swan Street and Eagle Street – Closed 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

State Street between Robin Street and South Swan Street – Closed 4:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Willett Street between State Street and Madison Avenue – Closed 4:45 p.m. - 5:35 p.m.

Washington Park, All Park Roadways – Including Henry Johnson Boulevard - Closed 4:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

 South Swan Street northbound State Street to Washington Avenue – Closed 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Dove Street southbound at Spring Street to State Street – Closed 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Lark Street between Madison Avenue and Washington Avenue – Closed 4:45 p.m.- 5:35 p.m.

**Lark St will remain open northbound only between Chestnut Street and Lancaster Street

     for Chestnut Street residents only

Henry Johnson Boulevard between State Street and Madison Avenue – Closed 4:45 p.m. to 5:35 p.m.

Eagle Street between Howard Street and Pine Street – Closed 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

 

 

Parking Restrictions: December 15, 2012 - Noon to 7:00 p.m.

State Street, both sides, from South Swan Street to Eagle Street

State Street, both sides, from Robin Street east 6 spaces on each side

Washington Avenue from North Hawk Street to Eagle Street, both sides restricted

Willett Street, both sides, from Hudson Avenue north 4 spaces on each side

Washington Park Road, both sides (Hudson Avenue), from Willett Street west to Henry Johnson Blvd

Park Street, west side, from Lancaster Street to State Street

 

Vehicles in violation are subject to ticketing and/or tow. Commuters should expect delays during this event and should use alternate routes.
