State police are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian in Taconic.
Police responded to the accident around 5:30pm Saturday on State Route 82. Officials are still investigating a cause, but do not believe alcohol was a factor. They are not saying if the driver will face other charges.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until the family has been notified.
