HEBRON, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities in California have charged a 72-year-old Kentucky man with killing three women in the Los Angeles area in the 1980s, including a former Washington County woman.
Willie Nelson of the of Hebron tells NewsChannel 13's media partners at the Post-Star of Glens Falls
that the Los Angeles Police Department told him last month that they had caught his sister's killer.
The LAPD announced Monday that Samuel Little was charged with three murder counts after being brought to Southern California following his arrest in Louisville, Ky., in September on an unrelated narcotics warrant.
One of Little's alleged victims was Nelson's sister, Audrey, a cosmetologist who had moved from rural Hebron to California in the 1980s. Nelson says her body was found in a garbage container in 1989.
