Tribute to award-winning Troy native held

TROY - There will be a tribute to the award winning actress Maureen Stapleton in February.

She is a native of Troy and a graduate of Catholic Central High School.

On Feb. 1, a new exhibit about her life and career opens at the Renselaer County Historical Society in Troy.

There will also be a tribute to Stapleton on the evening of Feb. 1 at Russell Sage College in Troy.

Both events are free and open to the public.
