A poster of disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong, which hangs proudly in the gym at Abram Lansing Elementary School in Cohoes may be coming down.

“I think I am taking it down, he's not a role model,” says Physical Education Teacher Terry Gendron.

Like many of his supporters, Gendron, is disappointed that Armstrong cheated, admitting he doped throughout much of his career.

But, adults aren't the only ones disappointed, so are many of Gendron's students, who saw Armstrong as an inspiration - a cancer survivor and winner of the, grueling Tour de France seven times.

Gendron is trying to turn this negative into a positive to discuss the consequences of not only cheating, but lying.
