Firefighters search for cause of massive mansion fire

COLUMBIA COUNTY - Firefighters are trying to figure out what sparked a massive fire that destroyed a mansion in Columbia County.

The fire broke out last night at 509 Bashford Road.

Authorities say it was a seasonal home.

No one was home at the time.

Firefighters say it was challenge getting water to the house because it located on a big hill.

More than 100 firefighters worked to put the fire out, and one firefighter burned his hand.
