Bird's Nest Easter Cupcakes

Cupcakes from your own favorite flavored cupcake recipe
Fluffy White Frosting tinted Green with Food Coloring
Chow Mein Noodles
Chocolate Melting Chips
Candy Coated Chocolate Eggs or Jelly Beans
Cookie Sheet lined with Wax Paper or Parchment Paper
Bake and cool your cupcakes.
Frost the base of your cupcake.
Melt Chocolate Melting Chips in the microwave. To do this in a microwave, place Chocolate Melting Chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on fifty percent power for thirty seconds, and then stir. Repeat in thirty second intervals until Chocolate is melted smooth.
Place a generous amount of Chow Mein Noodles into your melted chocolate. Fold in using a spatula and be careful not to break up the noodles. You want more noodles than chocolate so you can see the noodle texture as part of the nest.
Remove the Noodles in about a tablespoon size from the melted Chocolate with a fork so the excess Chocolate can drain if needed. This scoop will form the size of your Nest and be placed on top of your cupcake so the size should fit appropriately.
Place the Chocolate on the Wax Paper and form a Nest shape by placing a dip in the center.
Arrange Candy Treats in the center of the nest.
Transport the nests to the refrigerator for 15 minutes, or until set.
Remove from the refrigerator and decorate the cupcake.
Go ahead and add these treats to your Easter Gift Baskets for a special surprise.
That completes this delightful treat.
