Handyman pleads guilty to stealing from customers

BERKSHIRE COUNTY - A Berkshire County handyman will spend up to five years in prison for stealing from customers, mainly elderly women.

Anthony Teti Jr.was sentenced in Berkshire Superior Court after pleading guilty to 100 charges including larceny, forgery and identity fraud.

Prosecutors say he stole from five victims in Pittsfield and Cheshire, went on shopping sprees with stolen cards and checks, sold stolen jewelry and even dismantled a stolen boat and tried to sell it as scrap.
