Divers in Massachusetts have recovered the body of a Berkshire County man from the Housatonic River, after the canoe he was in, tipped over early this morning.

Stockbridge Police say there was a group of five friends staying at a home together. Two of them were in the canoe at the time.

The other person who fell into the water was able to make it to shore and ran to call for help.

Emergency crews got the call at 2:20 this morning.

Authorities say dive teams found the body of 21-year-old Rupert Norris-Von Brockbraider of Alford at 11:30 this morning.

Rescue crews from different agencies had spent hours in the area looking for the missing man.
