ALBANY -- The Council of Albany Neighborhood Associations hosted a panel discussion on the issue of abandoned buildings in the city Wednesday night. Albany has more than 800-vacant buildings alone, but authorities say it's a county-wide problem that's only getting worse.
People in the neighborhood are calling for less talk and more action.
Albany County Executive Dan Mccoy and Mayor Jerry Jennings also want to get Habitat for Humanity in the mix for a "fight the blight" campaign.
