TROY--Residents in North Troy are worried that a collapsing building on Third Avenue could seriously injure someone. Sunday during strong winds, a large window fell out and smashed onto the sidewalk.
City workers taped off the area and cleaned up the glass on Sunday, but neighboring residents say the building still poses a threat to health and safety. Residents say this old, abandoned building used to be a cleaners and also a brick factory. These days, they say it's a dangerous eyesore.
The Troy City Council is currently working on a long term plan for the city's various abandoned buildings.
