LATHAM - New York State Police in the Capital Region were busy cracking down on speeders and un-safe drivers last week.
On Tuesday, they released results of their Speed and Move Over crackdown week.
Troopers issued 801 speeding tickets, 38 tickets to people who did not move out of the way of emergency vehicles, and 79 people were ticketed for using hand held cell phones, or texting.
Troopers say they're trying to get drivers to pay better attention, because April is the start of road construction season, and there are typically more crashes in the spring and summer.
