EAST GREENBUSH – Earlier this week, NewsChannel 13 told you about an East Greenbush man, Gregory Hart, who was arrested after a bizarre scenario where an Albany businessman pursued him in a vehicle after his business had been burglarized.

The female partner of the businessman was the one who found this alleged burglar 3 days later, and she claims that it was her psychic abilities that led her to a man she had never seen or known about before.

Julian Melendez says last Friday night his "Night Owl" towing business in Albany was broken into, and no fewer than nine security cameras caught the burglar's image.

Julian and his partner, Kerry Lane did not recognize the guy on the numerous videotapes, but cameras also recorded the getaway car and a whole bunch of distinctive stickers on its rear end.

Kerry says she has some psychic abilities and was angry because the burglar had stolen a bunch of checks, cashing one for six-hundred dollars.

Kerry Lane claims that "something," she is not sure what, compelled her to go looking for the burglar's car and she found it.

She says she spotted his car at Madison and Pearl, and followed him to Route 9 and 20 in East Greenbush.

Kerry then alerted Julian, who then flagged down a nearby state trooper. The trooper then stopped the alleged bad guy at the old Sterling Winthrop plant.

Gregory Hart of East Greenbush was arrested, charged with criminal possession of stolen property, and possession of burglar's tools.

Colonie Police want to talk with the suspect, Gregory Hart, about an attempted break-in at Cumberland Farm on Central Avenue, and a burglary at Midway Fire Department, where some of those so-called "bell-jar" gambling slips got stolen, among other things.
