GLOVERSVILLE - A hospital in Fulton County was flooded with severely injured students Tuesday morning.
But this was only a drill -- planned long before the Boston bombings.
Doctors and nurses at Nathan Littauer Hospital practiced how to respond to an emergency. In this case, it was a simulated explosion at a school that injured more a dozen students and staff.
Doctors scrambled as if it was a real emergency, treating “victims” wearing fake blood and make-up.
Hospital President Larry Kelly says he's pleased with the way his staff responded to this emergency drill.
