JOHNSTOWN - The ice cream war between "Mister Ding-a-Ling" and his arch-rival, "Sno-Kone Joe" entered the legal arena Wednesday night, as a court hearing was held to challenge the City's decision to lift Sno-Kone Joe's permit.

Last week, NewsChannel 13 was first to tell you that the City of Gloversville was rescinding the permit of "Sno-Kone Joe" to sell his frozen treats on city streets.

That followed the arrests of Joshua Malatino and his girlfriend, Amanda Scott, the folks behind Sno-Kone-Joe.

The two of them accused of harassing and stalking the competing "Mister Ding-a-Ling" ice cream truck, telling Ding-a-Ling that the ice cream market in the City of Gloversville belonged to them.

Both of them told NewsChannel 13 exclusively that they had ever harassed or stalked their competitor, Mr. Ding-a-ling, hoping to get their right to operate renewed.
