GLENVILLE – Some teens learned about safe driving this weekend.
The “Tire Rack Street Survival” program is meant to give teens across the U.S. the driving tools and experience to become a smarter and safer driver.
The program puts young drivers in situations that they may encounter.
“We are teaching teen drivers ages 16-21, basically the realities of controlling their car in emergency situations in real world situations. We're kind of a step beyond drivers education,” said Jim Bucci, Coordinator.
Each student uses their own car and has a coach in the car with them.
There will be an event for adults next month.
