MALTA - A public hearing will be held Monday night in Malta regarding the Luther Forest Technology Campus.

The GlobalFoundries computer chip fabrication plant in Saratoga County is expected to receive approval to build a second multi-billion dollar plant.

The existing nanoscale manufacturing facility makes computer chips.

A town official says this could generate thousands of jobs in addition to the 2,000 people already working at the plant.

The public hearing begins at 6:30 at the Malta Town Hall on Route 9.
