BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont town is considering cashing in on its "ultra-clean" water as a way to boost its economy.
The town of Bennington is looking for bottlers and distributors who may want to sell its water.
The director of Bennington's office of economic development says the town's spring at the base of the Green Mountain National Forest can provide over six million gallons of water a day and that only 10 percent of the spring's capacity is used by the community each day.
