Suspect leads Saratoga Springs police on foot chase

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Police say they'll be releasing more information Monday, about a man injured during a foot chase with police over the weekend.

As of this morning, Darryl Mount, 21, of Malta was in critical condition at Albany Medical Center.

Officers say they saw mount shove a woman's head into a brick wall near the corner of Caroline Street and Broadway.

Police say Mount took off when officers approached him.

They lost sight of him for a while.

When they eventually found him, officers say he was unconscious on the ground near Gaffney's on Caroline Street.
