The Glens Falls mayor is working with economic development officials to fill a looming vacancy for the city's Civic Center.

This is the last year for the current hockey franchise, with no clear replacement in sight.

Even with the Adirondack Phantoms playing 40 home games a year, the city of Glens Falls is losing money on the Civic Center, which it owns without any surrounding partners.

If the city can't replace its current occupant, the mayor says they'll lose a lot more.
