Updating a story NewsChannel 13 has been following since last week, two Brooklyn residents are accused of trying to scam credit unions in our area.
Police say Antoine Barksdale, 25, and Ronice Sahadeo, 32, used fake IDs to apply for loans in the Capital Region.
That includes a $25,000 loan request at Sunmark Federal Credit Union in Halfmoon.
Investigators say they are responsible for similar scams as far away as Alabama and North Carolina.
Both suspects are now in Saratoga County Jail.
