SARATOGA SPRINGS - Police say they've found a single long gun and two bodies, a mother and her adult son, inside a trailer at the park just north of the Route 9P bridge, over Saratoga Lake.
The call came in around 12:40 p.m. Friday, that a family friend found two people dead in a mobile home.
Police aren't releasing the identity of the deceased, other than to say they were mother and son.
Cops are handling it as a murder-suicide and aren't sure exactly when it happened.
"I believe preliminarily this is going to be a domestic incident - a mother-son domestic incident. How the rest of the details play out from there, we won't know until we can get into the trailers,” said Lt. John Catone of Saratoga Springs Police.
Police weren't saying if there is a history of domestic incidents between the mother and son, who apparently owned the park, the bar, and the marina.
They are awaiting search warrants to secure the trailer and two others.
NewsChannel 13 is not yet releasing the identity of the victims because police have not yet notified all family.
