CAIRO – A Greene County maintenance worker is accused of using county funds to fill up his gas tank.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office say they caught 26-year-old William Holbrook, Jr. after noticing an unusually high amount of gas being charged to the county's account.
Another man, 31-year-old Matthew Schrull faces charges after admitting he served as a “lookout” while the gas was being stolen.
Both men are scheduled to appear in Cairo Town Court at a later date.
