Improvements are coming to the way SUNY schools handle reports of sexual violence.
The announcement comes after a review of 159 sexual harassment cases on four campuses -- University at Albany, Buffalo State College, SUNY Morrisville and SUNY New Paltz.
That review found the complaints were not investigated quickly or thoroughly enough.
SUNY officials say the study was done because SUNY is the nation's largest public higher education system and not because of a specific complaint.
SUNY has 29 state-operated campuses across New York State.
