WILTON - A Saratoga County family is distraught over vandalism done to their home.
It's a unique home in a secluded part of Wilton, which makes the family feel the house was targeted for a specific reason.
The home is known as the T-house. It's in the shape of a T. Designed by German Architech Simon Unger, it's both a dwelling, and a work of art.
Sometime between 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 and 8 a.m. the following morning vandals spray painted words, phrases and images all over the steel house.
Some of it doesn't make sense.
Some of the phrases are from philosophers. That stands out because the homeowner, Larry Marcelle, teaches Philosphy. But that could just be a coincidence.
Other than that, Larry's wife Diane says it's tough to make sense of what this all means -- and it's tough to look at her home in this state.
“To see someone take your personal property, and do something like that, it's very disturbing and upsetting, she said.
The Marcelle's have tried to power wash the Grafitti away. That did not work. They're now looking into other methods.
They did contact the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office and they are investigating this case.
