Two people are facing Petit Larceny charges after Police say they stole a purse at a family Thanksgiving meal.

Police say 41-year-old Christopher LaClair and 49-year-old Michelle Lamm , both of Schenectady, were invited to a Thanksgiving Day meal at LaClair’s sister’s home in Brunswick. After the meal, LaClair and Lamm were getting a ride home from anther family member.

Shortly after the three left, a guest said she noticed her purse was missing and called to ask the family member to come back to the house with LaClair and Lamm. According to officials, when everyone got back to the home, friends and family determined that LaClair and Lamm stole the purse.

Both LaClair and Lamm were charged with Petit Larceny. They are due to appear in Brunswick Court on December 4th.
