BETHLEHEM – A fifth man has been charged in connection with credit card skimming at the Golden Town Buffet in Glenmont.

Police say 52-year-old Pheng Sathongoth of Manhattan, didn't work at the buffet. Instead, police say he was part of a larger criminal enterprise that used the information to buy merchandise and gift cards.

Sathongoth was arrested in Connecticut on Thursday and returned to New York.

He now faces multiple charges of identity theft, grand larceny and conspiracy.

Four employees of the Golden Town Buffet have been previously charged in the case.

Bethlehem police say forty victims have come forward and their cards were used for 55-thousand-dollars worth of fraudulent charges.

They suggest you check your bank statements regularly to look out for any unusual activity.
