The White House says Vice President Joe Biden will meet with Gov. Andrew Cuomo in Albany on Tuesday to talk about “infrastructure and other investments in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.”

The trip was announced over the weekend, but details on what the vice president would be discussing were first released by the White House on Monday afternoon.

Biden last visited the Capital Region in 2009 when he spoke to people at Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park. At the time he was trying to build support for President Obama's Economic Recovery Act.

Albany is no stranger to this White House administration. President Obama visited the University at Albany's Nanotech Center last year. That followed a 2011 visit by the president to General Electric in Schenectady and a 2009 visit to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.
